Modeling Decision Making

Business Prototyping Toolkit Meetup - Thursday, April 28, 2022 - 2 hours - English
Socio-economic systems such as enterprises can be modeled as autonomous agents that receive information about the state of their environment, make decisions based on that information and then act according to the decisions they make.
Often the rules that underlie these decisions making processes are not clear to us and even if they are, formulating them in computational terms can be quite challenging.
In this meetup, we will explore how to model decision making processes in the Business Prototyping Toolkit, using both knowledge-based approaches (where we encode our knowledge of decision making into algorithms) and learning-based approaches (where the machine learns to make decisions through trial and error).
The event will start with an online presentation – we will then open up a "virtual coffee lounge" with a video share and online whiteboard for post meetup discussions.
The meetup will take place on Thursday, April 28, 2021, at 16:00 and will last for 2 hours.
