Business Prototyping: Introduction

A meetup about introduction to business prototyping
In this meetup, we explored how to build "prototypes" of business models and market strategies using computational modeling and the Business Prototyping Toolkit (BPTK).
These prototypes allow you to explore and validate business ideas from strategic, operational, and financial perspectives.
In particular, you can experiment with:
  • The policies for obtaining resources, building capabilities, and developing new products
  • The dynamic interaction of the business with the market
  • The conditions in both product and factor markets.
In the meetup, the participants learned how to get both qualitative and quantitative answers to the question "Is our business model valid?", expressed in key performance indicators relevant to your business.
This meetup was the first in a series of meetups on business prototyping.
In this session, we first discussed the business prototyping approach. Then we took a look at a concrete model that you could use as a starting point for your own prototyping endeavors.
The meetup was hosted as an online event. After the presentation, we opened up a virtual coffee lounge for interactive discussion.
The event was held as an online presentation on Teams on 23.02.2023.
